Dear fellows, on the 21st of July 2020 the official award ceremony of Darik Radio's Season 7 “40 under 40” was held. As you might already know our Co-Founder and Lead Producer Yuriy was nominated and chosen as one of the young entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers in Bulgaria under the age of 40 who serves as a true inspiration for the youth here. We are extremely grateful for this recognition as it makes us feel confident that we are on the right path and our hard work and perseverance have been noticed. Huge admirations to all the other amazing people in this year’s “40 under 40” list! One day you guys, will make the world a better place. Just keep dreaming.
Fellows, it was an honour being part of this prestigious event. We are happy to share with you some moments from it:
The event was hosted by the Astronomical Observatory of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski”, which by the way is the first astronomical observatory in Bulgaria, established in the distant 1894 year.
We were able to enjoy a very special dance by two talented boys from the Dimitrov’s Formation, which to date is the first and only Bulgarian male dance formation among children groups with over 150 participations per year.
The successful businessman and Founder, CEO of Darik Radio Radosvet Radev celebrated his 60th birthday with all of us who were part of the award ceremony. And was wonderful because every time you talk with him you can learn a lot.
And at the end of this post we want to share something very special that Mr. Radev said to Season 7’ “40 under 40” class: “Learn to be a torchbearer without burning your heart. Instead, keep it for the love.”
